Andean Volcanoes

These ceramic pipes feature earth tones and black metallic glazes, an allusion to the smoke and lava of the volcanoes which dot Miwak Junior’s native Andes. 

Our ceramicist Sebastian is from Chile; a gorgeous, volatile land of earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes. Volcanoes enchant him in particular - he draws them, he sculpts them, he travels far distances to look at them.
