Miwa Vase Yuki
The Miwa Vase in Yuki (or, ‘snow’) is a shallow ceramic flower vase, cast by hand in stoneware clay with a matte white glaze.
This piece is fired in reduction, in a gas kiln (as opposed to an electric one) which can reach an extremely high fire temperature. The heat renders these vases especially sturdy, and the reduction process creates an ever-changing array of finishes which make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Variations in color, shade, surface texture and size are natural characteristics of all our products and should be expected. Images shown are representative, but may not indicate all variations in these characteristics.
Glazed on the interior for a non-porous, easy-to-clean surface.
Measures 5.5” by 4”. Responsibly made by hand in California.
Glass is in the past, Miwak is not
Miwak Junior’s products are so forward thinking while also being instinctual and earthy. Very impressed their by the bowls (makes me never want to buy glass products again) and ended up getting a vase which I’m even more into! Very excited for the future of this company! Beautiful design!
